MTM Announces Strategic Acquisition of Four Degree Trailer Co., Driving Growth and New Jobs in Kewanee, Illinois

KEWANEE, IL — October 10, 2025 — MTM, a leading manufacturer of high-performance
equipment for the construction and transport industries, today announced it has entered into an
agreement to acquire Four Degree Trailer Co., a Kewanee-based manufacturer known for its
innovative, heavy-duty drop-deck trailers.

The acquisition, expected to close on October 31, 2025, will expand MTM’s product portfolio,
increase manufacturing capacity, and bring additional jobs to the Kewanee community.

Four Degree Trailer Co. is recognized for its patented drop-deck designs, which have set new
standards for safety and efficiency in equipment transport. Its flagship products—the Lo Riser®
Trailer and the Lift-a-Load® Trailer—offer unique, hydraulically operated loading and lifting
capabilities:

• Lo Riser® Trailer: A tilt-bed trailer that hydraulically lowers to ground level, creating a
  minimum 4-degree loading angle for smooth, drive-on access.
• Lift-a-Load® Trailer: A versatile drop-deck model that raises or lowers from ground level
  to dock height while remaining level throughout operation.

as production of Four Degree’s product line transitions to MTM’s Kewanee headquarters.

Upon closing, MTM intends to relocate the Four Degree product line to its 240,000-square-foot
manufacturing facility in Kewanee, where production of the Lo Riser® and Lift-a-Load® trailers
will continue under the MTM brand. Four Degree Trailer Co. was previously owned by Rhino
Tool Co. and, most recently,Triple L Group, LLC.
